About. John
John is the firm’s resident Social Security expert and loves helping clients maximize their social security claiming strategies.
He was born and raised in Grand Haven, attended Hope College and is NSSA® and insurance certified. Through many years in family businesses, John has learned the complexities that must be considered in developing sound financial plans that can weather unexpected life transitions.
He enjoys running, biking, golfing, travel, great food and great wine!
About. Lori
Lori Bush has spent over 35 years in the financial industry and has a great passion for being able to assist people develop the best personalized strategies possible. She began her career in corporate finance after graduating with a BBA & MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Fifteen years ago, she transitioned to wealth management as an investment advisor.
As a Certified Finanical Planner (CFP)® who is NSSA® certified, she understands the importance of coordinating all aspects of financial planning to be able to deliver the best possible outcomes for the client. This includes social security maximization, tax analysis, investment and benefit coordination, estate and wealth preservation.
She believes in the importance of civic involvement and is a past trustee for Aquinas College and the Holland/Zeeland Community Foundation, where she held numerous Chairperson positions – including the Investment Committee. She is an active member of St. Patrick’s Parish in Grand Haven. In her free time, she enjoys an active lifestyle that includes running marathons (27-to-date), Ironman triathlons, traveling, and reading.
